    Hmmm… seems like most of the countries with a high HDI are in the temperate to cold regions on the world. I think the hot tropical weather must have affected our standing in this index… hehe

    I am not taking this classification / index / methodology for granted - 25th position for singapore. Only 4 Asian countries in this top 30 (Japan - 7th / Hong-Kong 22nd / South Korea 26th). We are all “1st” in at least one indicator… if you have one for Sg, I would be more than interested…
